Vascular Examination of the blood supply to the feet by means of digital palpation, Doppler (ultrasound) and Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI), the latter aiding in the identification of Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).
Neurological Examination of the nerve supply to the feet by means of testing muscle strength, reflexes and sensation to touch, monofilament touch, pain, vibration and proprioception.

What Does a Typical Consultation Include?
A typical consultation with Foot Respect includes the following:
- A medical history, including your list of medication
- Disinfecting the foot before, during and after treatment
- The use of properly autoclaved instruments
- A full assessment of your feet
- Cutting and filing of toe nails
- Trimming down thickened nails with a burr
- Paring of callus
- Enucleating any corns
- Moisturising foot cream massaged into your feet
- Advice on footwear
- Education appropriate to your needs
